THERE  ARE  NO  FIXED  CHARGES  FOR  PRIVATE  BOOKINGS.

The amount you pay will be determined in one of two ways:

(1)

We agree a price in advance, usually by discussion.

I will occasionally state a required amount.

 For organisations with a standard rate for outside entertainers, that rate will usually be acceptable.

or  (2)

You pay an amount of your choice, based on a guide figure from me (I may also set a minimum).   You can even decide your amount after the event.

If you are poor, you should not be shy about paying less than the guide value.  

If you are well(ish) off, & you feel my services brightened your day, you may like to be generous.   This will enable me to keep on serving lower payers as well as sometimes taking on unpaid charitable commitments.

Especially for my POETRY PERFORMANCE: 

It is hard to attract first-time audience, because people only know of poetry "readings" or (at best) something gimmicky to add colour.   But the poetry itself, properly delivered, can be nourishing somewhat as professionally played music is.   If you experienced it that way, please spread the word.
